I'm heading off to Australia tomorrow. I've put together this page so that you can follow along on my journey, well as much as accessible computers allow me. I'm bringing a digital camera and will post images here. I chose the blog format so that I can write lengthier captions than photo sites allow. It snowed here last week. I'm going to somewhere that doesn't get a lot of snow. I'm looking forward to my hands not getting cold every time I leave a building without gloves on. The picture on the left was taken on November 30th. It's just a few yards from my house.

Love your Yoda-like url - know should you things...

Impossible to see the future is. Difficult to see. Always in motion is the future.

But adventure great, that you have will. Through the Force, things you will see. Other places. The future...the past.

Have fun in the sun Ro!

FYI, as an update. I successfully dropped her off at the airport on wednesday afternoon.

(As I was speeding by, pushed her out of the car..... errrrrr.. no that's not it)

I parked in the hourly parking. We were about 90 minutes early. (there was hardly anyone at the airport, no traffic, no waiting, no lines, etc..). We spent sometime looking at various recent changes/artwork at SeaTac terminal.

I wished her a good trip *wink* and watched as she went through security check in less than 10 minutes... no problems. (Except maybe putting her shoes back on, and tying them :)

In chatting with her before she left, she'll be surfing/on the beach for the first few days. Internet access unlikely.

Then visiting her friend 'down-under', she'll be able to be online there. I suspect a flurry of updates, pictures, email, etc..

:) Wish her well! Wish I could go too,
